THE MOOS IN SAN FRANCISCO // PERSONAL

moo + san francisco = best trip ever!

thanks to my sister-in-law Elizabeth, we had one of the best weekend vacations this year. it was our first time traveling to San Francisco together. Elizabeth gifted us a dinner at Gary Danko where our mouths were in heaven for at least 4 hours! i have to admit, i did not feel guilty being a food snob at all that day. we had to book reservations 2 months in advance.. 2 MONTHS!!!! that’s insane! we had the most amazing time exploring together and just spoiled ourselves with delicious food. one of the best parts of the trip was the mechanical museum we stumbled upon walking around pier 41. we had so much fun just admiring these classic machines. it will now be our tradition to go there every time we are in SF. on our final day there, we road bikes over the golden gate bridge and took the ferry back. It was quite exhausting but the day was perfect for it. special thanks to Christine Chang for being a great tour guide, host, and most importantly – friend! we would’ve been lost without you!

all images shot with d700 and iphone camera.

enjoy!

HOT CHOCOLATE RUN AND SAN DIEGO // PERSONAL

in march, we ran 9.3 miles. that’s right, we conquered the Hot Chocolate 15k in San Diego. lack of training resulted in epic soreness post-race. i still can’t believe we completed the race with 12 minute miles. i thought for sure we would be picked up on a cart because we were too slow. after the race we were given chocolate fondue with a bunch of other treats. the best part about this race was the hoodie in our goodie bags. chocolate treats, nice sweaters, and good company makes for an amazing race day. thank you Christine for running with us slow pokes, we really appreciate you staying with us the whole time! we spent the evening walking around downtown SD and balboa park the next day. here are some of my favorite images from the weekend taken with my camera and iphone.

I’M AN UNCLE TO 3 AMAZING KIDS // PERSONAL

growing up in my family as the youngest of 4, i was spoiled like no other.  at first i didn’t realize it, but as i look back to before i was married or even had a job of my own i was always being spoiled by either my loving sisters, brother or parents. that’s the amazing perks of being the youngest. now i’m getting nieces and nephews and i have to admit, being an uncle is truly awesome. sometimes i may be the mean or annoyed uncle, but at the end of the day i love them to death. Remy, the oldest, is too smart for her own good, but i can see her being an amazing artist one day. my nephew and Remy’s brother, Westin, is a crazy dancer like his uncle. then there’s Brady. i just want to pick up this little guy and cuddle with him every time i visit.  my family is such a blessing and i wouldn’t be the person i am without them. thank you guys!

these shots are from Westin’s 4th birthday

plus a bonus shot of my mom freaking out when the dog jumped right next to her

cheers!

THY + PAUL // ENGAGED // PALOS VERDES

Thy + Paul engagement seriously broke adventure and fanciness. we drove all around palos verdes, trekked down to the tide pools, and then dared ourselves how long we can hangout on rocks before the sea gets us all wet. congratulations to you guys again! many blessings on your wedding day and marriage!

REGINA HUSMAN // LOS ANGELES // PORTRAIT

here is Regina Husman, a dear friend of mine that i have known for sometime now. with every life we all have struggles and the obstacles that come into it. getting to know her story about how God has blessed her life and how He reached out to guide her to where she is now. Regina has a huge heart for God and His children in this world. she is currently studying to be a neurologist to do big things in this world. I’m super blessed to know such an inspiring young girl and i’m stoke to see her grow spiritually and as a person.

big thanks to Regina for coming out to shoot with me so i can test out a new film set from Visual Supply Co. this is the vscofilm03 pack and so far i like the professional series from it. mostly used was a variety of ++ or +++ from Fujifilm FP-100c and FP-3000B series. i really like it for personal use but maybe not just weddings yet. the black and white options could possibly be worked in though.

well here are some shots from a small session with regina in her own home.
